For September 9-10, 2022
It is almost time for the September Diana Singing! The excitement for this coming September singing is immeasurable; the emails, the phone calls, the text messages, the messages via social media… it is adding up to a reunion of reunions! Be making your plans now… get your camper ready, reserve your hotel room(s), and tell your friends! We have information on our web site (www.dianasinging.com) for hotels and restaurants in the area.
While you are here for the singing, please visit the Tape Shed, the Hall of Fame, the Song Book Museum, the Gift Shop and the Ham Shed. The proceeds from all these venues go directly to the operation of the Singing. With no proceeds for the past two years, we need your donations or purchases while you are at the Singing. So please come early and eat, laugh, buy, visit, spend and eat some more before and while you sing.
There are many exciting things that are and have been happening with The Diana Singing!
If you were at the singing in June, you heard Larry announce for The Board of Directors, that we are asking for tax exempt donations for some improvements to the campground and purchasing more land for parking. We have had a good response so far, but we have a long way to go. We are needing around $150,000 for these projects. At this writing we have about 1/3 of that amount. Please consider donating to these projects to help improve the singing.
Here are some ways you can donate.
- A camera on the QR Code below will bring Easy Tithe to your phone browser
- Text ‘Gift’ to 615-219-4460 and you will be provided a link via text to your phone
- Go to www.dianasinging.com select Donate/Gift and it will take you to Easy Tithe
- By mailing a check. MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: Diana Singing and mail to:

The Diana Singing is still in need of copies of the “Songs of Faith and Praise” songbook. Do you know of a congregation that has unused copies that they would consider donating to the Singing? Would you personally be willing to donate copies? We would put them to good use! Contact us here: https://forms.gle/MxNfSmCfv1fXPRon7
We will have the seats cleaned by September 2nd so please wait until September 3rd to mark your seats. Cleaning in Singing Shed will be in progress until that day. We also ask that you do not save more than 10 seats on the first 6 rows from middle and sides.
PLEASE: We want to keep our records up to date. If you have moved or changed any of your information, please send us a note to let us know at rajrolltide@gmail.com
THIS PART FOR THE CAMPERS
We are planning to have the campground opened by August 19, but a few of us will be there a little early to open-up water and bath houses.
Everything that we would usually do before a singing will still need to be done; cutting the grass, Ham Shed emptied and cleaned thoroughly, bathrooms will need to be cleaned up good, Hall of Fame and Songbook Museum will need cleaning top to bottom too. Ladies who usually clean up in the Gift Shop, your help will still be needed.
Lawrence Taylor will be available to help you with parking your camper and spaces will be marked as usual. Please use the back row for the 50amp campers only. Camp lots are, on a first-come first-served basis and there will be no charge for camping. However, your donations to help with the cost of water and electricity would be appreciated as these usually run about $2,000 for each singing.
We depend on the campers to help with the work going on during the weeks before the singing. If you see work going on, ask what you can do to help.
We always need volunteers to help in the Ham Shed and the Gift Shop on Friday and Saturday nights September 9-10. There will be “sign-up sheets” at the Ham Shed the week before Singing.
On marker board at Ham Shed there will be a “TO DO LIST” for each day. Check it out every day for changes.
Several of us gather at Ham Shed early each morning for coffee, you are always welcome to join us.
PLEASE remember that we only “pick at” those we love, so be ready!!
